Computing At It's Finest With A Wireless Keyboard

Using a Logitech wireless keyboard with your laptop allows for much more functionality, especially if you have an external monitor and a wireless mouse. You can use your wireless keyboard to type and navigate the Internet with ease, as well as use keyboard shortcuts for controlling programs without having to be close to your laptop. Wireless keyboards are also easy to install and set up, as later versions of Windows can detect the basic drivers and install them automatically to your computer.

 Instructions

1 Open the battery slot on the back of the wireless keyboard and place the required number of batteries in the keyboard. Some models require three AAA-size batteries; others require two AAs.

2 Insert the USB receiver into a USB slot on your computer or laptop. Press the connect button on the receiver, and then press the connect button on the bottom of the keyboard to sync the devices. 3 Allow time for your computer to detect the device and install the basic drivers.

4 Insert the installation disc that came with the wireless keyboard into your computer's disc drive. Open the Start menu by clicking the "Start" button on your desktop. Click "Computer." Click on the disc icon in your disc drive to open the installation wizard.

5 Follow the on-screen installation wizard to install the rest of the keyboard drivers. After installation is complete, you can test out your wireless keyboard by typing a URL into your Internet browser, or opening word processing software and typing.
